Embassy Alert to Guyanese nationals in Venezuela

The Embassy wishes to inform all Guyanese nationals residing in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela that, except for the duly authorised accounting officer stationed at the Embassy, no person is authorised to receive payments and to transact any business on the Embassy's behalf.

Guyanese nationals are also reminded that the Embassy has no appointed representative in any location in any State in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. All monetary transactions for consular services must be done only with the authorised accounting officer attached to the Embassy in Caracas.

The Embassy does not charge any fees for submission of applications for passports. Passport forms are also free of charge.

If any person is approached by anyone claiming to act on behalf of the Embassy, please report this matter immediately to the Embassy by telephoning 212-977-1158 or 212-975-3687.
